DIY PPF Academy Lesson 20 - Squeegeeing down the panel

After ensuring the badge's position and tacking the corners, the body panel's body can now be squeegeed down methodically. It's best to work in sections and consider the body line and wrapped edge. Here are some tips:

Work methodically to prevent air bubbles and reduce the risk of fingers at the edges.
Body lines provide a good pint to squeegee to as the film adheres better to these areas.
Use the flexibility of the squeegee to squeegee out liquid efficiently.
Spread the film evenly to minimise fingers better during application.
Use tack solution under small fingers to help them adhere smoothly.
Once the main part of the application is done, check for water or air pockets and address any remaining fingers with tack solution. Allow the film to dry before attempting to wrap the edges. The final steps involve flushing with tack solution and leaving the panel to dry before returning to finish the job.
